Format of Presentations:
Platform Presentations
Time: 15 mins
Description: Oral presentation of paper with the use of
audiovisual aids to a seated audience.
Discussion: 15 mins at the end of the session
Poster Presentations
Time: On display throughout the conference in the
exhibition area
Description: Reports in which information is summarized
using brief written statements and graphic materials
(photos, charts, graphs, diagrams) to be mounted on a
poster board.
Discussion: Will be held during coffee breaks (will be
scheduled once accepted)

submission.

Abstract Format
Language: All abstracts are to be written in
English. The Scientific Committee reserves the right to
alter abstracts where the English structure makes
comprehension difficult.
Submission: All abstracts must be submitted via the
Online Abstract Form. This should be limited to a
maximum of 500 words, single spaced (no smaller than 10
point type), in MS word and should include the
following:
· Title of abstract
· Names and contact details of author(s) organisation ,
city /country, email, phone numbers, fax numbers and
mailing address. Please indicate the presenter clearly.
Also please provide a biography (not exceeding 3 lines)
with your abstract.
· The abstract must fulfill the objectives of the
conference and fit into the conference theme and one of
the conference topics.
· The abstract must include the following headings
clearly: Purpose, Relevance, Participants, Methods,
Analysis, Results, and Conclusions.
(Please provide evidence of ethical approval and funding
acknowledgements if any.)
A compatible computer with overhead projector and screen
will be provided to the speaker for powerpoint
presentation
Terms and Conditions
1. The scientific committee reserves the right to
make the final decision about the abstract acceptance
and its scheduling into the program based on topics and
time constraints.
2. The language of the conference is English and all
speakers must have good control over the language.
3. All abstracts must be prepared using the abstract
submission guidelines.
4. Each presenter may submit a maximum of two abstracts.
5. Each abstract submission must indicate if the
material was published or presented in any prior
conferences or if it received any awards.
6. All presenters must register to attend the conference
within a maximum of 2 weeks of acceptance of the
abstract and be present at the time of their
presentation.
7. A certificate of appreciation will be given to all
the presenters to honour their presentation.
8. Power point will be the primary resource for platform
presentation and will be available at the conference.
9. Some sessions may be video or audio taped.
10. Presenters must not use the session as a marketing
opportunity for products\equipment.
11. All accepted abstracts will be published in the
Conference Abstract Book subject to confirmation of the
presenter’s registration.
12. Fee or payment of travel /living expenses or
registration charges will not be provided.
