About the Emirates Physiotherapy Society (EPS) The Emirates Physiotherapy Society (EPS) was established in 2003 to foster excellence in practice, education and research in the field of Physiotherapy throughout the United Arab Emirates. It supports, promotes, and advocates the role of physiotherapy as an essential health care component to achieve high standards of health in the UAE. The primary aim of the EPS is to allow the physiotherapists in the UAE to move forward toward autonomy, an achievement which has already been accomplished in so many other countries. Additionally, EPS endeavors to improve the standards of physiotherapy practice in the UAE by providing opportunities for continuing education for physiotherapists.
